Tag Management Optimizations

Managing a large tag library just got a lot easier. We've introduced a set of bulk optimization tools that reduce the manual effort of organizing tags, so admins can spend less time on tag housekeeping and more time on strategy.

New capabilities:

• Bulk move tags to groups — Select multiple tags and move them into one or more groups in a single, streamlined workflow.
• Control how group changes apply — When moving tags to new groups, choose to keep them in their current groups and add the new ones, or remove them from current groups and move exclusively to the new ones.
• Modernized delete experience — The updated delete tag flow clearly shows the consequences of deletion before you confirm, so there are no surprises.

Easier than before:

• Group search — Search the groups list directly from the Tag Management header instead of scrolling to find the right one.
• Multi-group selection when creating tags — Select multiple groups at once when creating a new tag — the dropdown stays open between selections.

These updates are available to all customers on Professional, Advanced, and Enterprise plans. Users need the Manage Tags permission to access the Tag Management page. Managing tag collections requires the Manage Tag Collections permission (Advanced+).

Case Management Report: Filter by Agent & Benchmark Performance 

Preparing for coaching sessions just got a lot easier. This release adds a targeted Team Member filter to the Assignee Performance table within the Case Management Report.

This allows managers to isolate individual performance metrics and instantly benchmark them against team averages—no more manual scrolling or external spreadsheets required!

We're making it easier than ever to build your Listening Topics with confidence! You can now instantly validate your queries across Reddit and Bluesky right alongside X in the Preview panel.

Here is how this update helps you:

• Preview multiple sources at once: Get a clear look at recent messages from X, Reddit, and Bluesky in 3-5 seconds.
• Refine your results instantly: Add keywords or exclusions and see your preview update in real-time. No more waiting an extended period of time to see if your changes worked!
• Check your metrics: See volume and engagement data for your selected sources directly in the preview window.

More Power and Precision for Your Listening Themes

We’ve upgraded the Themes builder within Listening Query Builder to give you the same flexible, powerful experience you use to build your main keyword query for your Topics. You can now use the same functionality to create highly targeted Themes with ease. This includes: 

• Complex Logic: Support for advanced functions like Exact Match, Proximity Match, to:, from:, hashtags, cashtags, and mentions ensures your Theme data is exactly what you need for your analysis.
• Slash Commands: Use / or click the button in the rail commands to quickly add complex operators
• AI Recommendations: Let AI assist you in finding the right keywords for your Theme based on its title.
• Bulk Copy & Paste: Easily copy entire query structures from your Topic into your Themes, or paste lists of keywords that automatically tokenize.

Updates to Facebook Reach Metrics

Meta announced that they are updating their API and introducing new metrics for tracking unique content views that will replace their legacy Facebook reach metrics. Meta’s intent with this change is to simplify and unify reporting across media types. 

The main focus of Meta’s API deprecation will be metrics related to Facebook Reach. All previous Facebook Reach metrics have been deprecated from the API, apart from Facebook’s standard Total Reach metric. This Total Reach metric will remain and has been remapped in Sprout using Facebook’s new Total Unique Media Views metric available for both post-level and page-level reporting.

TikTok Ads Reporting in Sprout 

As TikTok becomes a cornerstone of digital strategy, the ability to prove ROI on ad spend is more critical than ever. We are excited to announce our new TikTok Ads reporting, allowing you to measure the business impact of your TikTok advertising directly within Sprout Social.

This release introduces a brand new TikTok Paid Performance Report, as well as the inclusion of TikTok ad performance within our Cross-Network Paid Performance Report and corresponding paid performance reporting widgets.

TikTok Mentions in the Smart Inbox

We are excited to announce that @mentions of your connected TikTok profiles are now available directly in the Smart Inbox. This update allows you to manage and engage with your TikTok mentions alongside your other social messages.

Key highlights include:

• Centralized Management: View and interact with both comment and video (post) @mentions directly in the Smart Inbox.
• Streamlined Engagement: Reply to comment @mentions without leaving Sprout.
• Comprehensive Coverage: For video @mentions, use our "reply from native" option for seamless engagement.

Mentions appear in near real-time, and you'll see up to 10 days of past @mentions for your profiles. Please ensure you have the appropriate Inbox and Profile permissions to view and interact with these messages.

Publish Video Pins to Pinterest

You can now publish video Pins to Pinterest directly from Sprout — no need to leave the platform to create video content on Pinterest natively.

What's new
Schedule and publish video Pins from Compose, just like you already do with image Pins. Video Pins work with all the publishing tools you're used to, including the Publishing Calendar, Queue, Message Approval workflows, and Tagging. Learn More here.

Premium Analytics users: Stop endlessly scrolling through your reports with Enhanced Tabs in My Reports!

• Organize Widgets: Move away from long, flat layouts and categorize your widgets into functional, distinct views to find insights faster.
• Easy Management: Add new tabs, rename them, and rearrange widgets using the Rearrange Menu.
