Currently, video uploads from Sprout Social are supported for Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. If you select networks aside from those in the Compose window, you will not be able to attach video to that post.

There are a few additional requirements for Instagram Photo Stories. They include:

  • Photos must be within a 4:5 to 1.91:1 aspect ratio range
  • Minimum resolution of 150x150 (lower resolutions will be scaled up to the minimum)
  • Maximum resolution of 1920x1080 (higher resolutions will be scaled down to the maximum)

Note: When cross-posting to multiple networks, the number of photos you can upload is based on the network with the smallest maximum number. For example, if you choose both a Twitter profile and a LinkedIn profile in the Compose window, you will only be able to attach one photo.
