We’re excited to announce a highly requested update to our YouTube reporting capabilities! You can now specifically track, filter, and analyze YouTube Shorts separately from standard videos within Sprout Social using this new Post Type filter.

Elevate Your Reddit Listening Strategy with Precision Control
Reddit is a goldmine for organic conversation, but its massive scale can often make finding the "signal in the noise" a challenge. To help you focus on the discussions that matter most to your brand, we’ve introduced Advanced Subreddit Capabilities within the Listening Query Builder.
Whether you need to monitor a dedicated brand community, exclude irrelevant high-volume subreddits, or capture every single mention from a specific niche, these new granular controls give you total mastery over your Reddit data ingestion:
- Isolate Key Communities: Limit your keyword queries to a specific list of subreddits (e.g., focus only on r/Computers or r/Technology).
- Filter Out the Noise: Exclude specific subreddits that create irrelevant data for your brand, ensuring your Topics remain clean and actionable.
- Stream All Data: For your most critical communities, you can now choose to ingest every single post and comment from a subreddit, regardless of whether they match your keyword query.

Introducing Exact Match within Sprout’s Listening Query Builder
We’re excited to announce our new Exact Match operator within the Listening Query Builder. This option allows Listening users to utilize quotes to enforce strict keyword matching, ensuring that Sprout only collects results that contain the precise word or phrase entered, without the standard "fuzzy" matching or word conjugation typically applied to Listening queries.
When you select Exact Match, Sprout will only pull in results that contain the precise word or phrase you entered — no variations, no plurals, and no unwanted noise. Learn more here!
