Essentials Plan

Sprout Social comes in four different plans you can choose from: Essentials, Standard, Professional and Advanced. These plan levels determine what features you have access to. If you aren’t sure what plan you’re on, navigate to Account and settings > Settings and then click Billing & Plan. If you don’t have access to this menu, contact your Sprout Account Owner or Customer Success Manager.

Features of the Essentials Plan

With the Essentials Plan in Sprout, you can:

  • Connect up to five of your social profiles.
  • Publish, schedule, draft and queue posts for your profiles using the Publishing Calendar.
  • Use Optimal Send Times to schedule content when your audience is most likely to engage.
  • Generate Alt Text with AI Assist for more accessible social content.
  • Access integrations in Compose to import and create assets from popular design and file storage tools.
  • Evaluate your social performance with reports on Post Performance and profile performance.
  • Access the iOS and Android Sprout app.

These features come out of the box with Sprout's Essentials Plan and can help you publish, plan and report on your social media profiles.

Note that the Essentials Plan does not include the Smart Inbox, Cases, Reviews, Chatbots, collaboration features such as Approvals and Workflows, or premium add-ons such as Listening and Premium Analytics. If your team needs these capabilities, consider upgrading to the Standard, Professional or Advanced plan.
