ChatGPT Connection Overview and Setup

The ChatGPT connection makes it easier to unlock insights from your TikTok publishing data in Sprout. Instead of pulling reports or manually comparing campaigns, you can ask ChatGPT natural language questions about your TikTok content performance and receive quick, contextual answers.

With this connection, you can:

• Securely connect your Sprout account to your ChatGPT Plus, Pro, or Enterprise account
• Ask questions about post and campaign performance for your connected TikTok Profiles
• Get summaries, comparisons, and suggestions based on post-level analytics for TikTok (impressions, engagements, post metadata, and more)
• Use ChatGPT’s formatting and summarization tools to help plan campaigns and optimize future content

Follow these steps to connect Sprout Social to your ChatGPT account:

1. Log into ChatGPT.
2. Go to account settings.
   • Ensure that Developer Mode is turned on in the ‘Advanced Settings’ menu
3. Navigate to “Apps & Connectors.”
4. Click “Create.”
5. Fill in the form with the following details:
   • Name: Sprout Social
   • Description: Sprout Social Media Management
   • MCP Server URL: https://mcp.sproutsocial.com/mcp
   • Authentication: OAuth
   • I trust this application: Check this box
6. Click “Create.”
7. Complete the Sprout Social Login: If you are not already logged into Sprout Social, you will be prompted to log in. Once logged in, the connection will authenticate automatically.

Note: The ChatGPT connection is only available for TikTok data, specifically for published insights and post performance metrics.
