Manage user roles for seamless onboarding and security

Introducing Dynamic Role Sync, a powerful new feature designed to simplify Sprout user onboarding and role management while enhancing access security. With Dynamic Role Sync, your Identity Provider (IdP) can automatically assign users to their correct role in Sprout based on their group or role assignment in the IdP. Whenever a user logs in through SSO, Sprout will verify their current role assignment, and if there’s a change, it will update their role automatically. This is made possible by the SAML assertion sent from the IdP during SSO, with Sprout now supporting a role attribute in the assertion. Most Identity Providers allow for mapping groups to specific attributes, giving you full control over which Sprout role each group should have.

Advocacy's Slack integration is now available in the Slack Marketplace

The Employee Advocacy Slack integration is now officially accessible in the Slack Marketplace. This update streamlines the process of locating and installing the integration, ensuring that sharing your Advocacy stories with your Slack channels is more straightforward than ever. Due to this update, if you had previously connected Advocacy to Slack, it has been disconnected. You'll see a banner prompting to reconnect Slack, which will restore the ability to broadcast stories.

Users with Premium Analytics can now choose between live or snapshot deliveries for Scheduled Deliveries in My Reports. Live deliveries ensure your PDF reflects the report’s state at the time of delivery, while snapshot deliveries retain the report’s state from the time of scheduling. Update your delivery preferences anytime in Settings for newly created Scheduled Deliveries; no more deleting and recreating schedules to reflect updates!
