Better prioritize your messages and reviews for better brand engagement and loyalty with Response Recommendation Classification
Now your messages in the Smart Inbox and Reviews pass through a machine-learning model to automatically determine what messages actually require a response and which ones you can move on from. You can even incorporate the Response Recommendation into your Automated Rules to enhance brand loyalty and prioritize the messages that matter most. The best part? The machine learns over time as you update classifications to better understand the messages that are most important.

Updated calculation of X's Other Engagements metric
Originally, Sprout uses the Other Engagements metric to capture the difference between the Engagement number received from X directly and the metrics Sprout breaks out (i.e. Likes, @Replies, Retweets, Post Link Clicks and Other Post Clicks). However, this metric also accounts for a variety of other actions that X counts as engagement, like poll votes.
In order to ensure Sprout is accurately collecting and reporting on your X data, Sprout no longer zeros out negative values for the Other Engagements metric. This means that if you rerun a report where Other Engagements was previously 0, you might see an updated Other Engagement value that could be negative.

Get improved Reporting and Publishing insights with duplicate post filtering
Originally, when comments were made on Facebook multi-photo or album posts, it created duplicate posts in the Sprout app, both in Reporting and the Publishing Calendar. Now, Sprout automatically filters out duplicate posts while maintaining the ability to see individual photo comments in the Smart Inbox and enhanced reporting accuracy.
Originally, in Reporting, both the post and individual images would show in reports. Now only one post is displayed. Similar for the Publishing Calendar, only one post appears now, rather than multiple posts.
Note: This is a forward-facing enhancement, meaning that any duplicate posts that appear before March 25, 2024 continue to appear as duplicates.
