How do I use Summarize by AI Assist for Listening?

Get quick insight into your longer Listening messages with Summarize by AI Assist. Summarize by AI Assist uses Sprout Social’s integration with OpenAI to generate summaries of messages with more than 800 characters.

The OpenAI integration must be enabled to use this feature. To enable the integration:
- Navigate to Settings > Account Settings.
- Select Enable OpenAI Integration.
To use Summarize by AI Assist in the Messages tab:
- Navigate to Listening.
- Select a Topic.
- Navigate to Messages.
- Find a message with over 800 characters that you want to summarize and click the
Summarize icon. The summary generates.
The icon appears grayed out if the message has fewer than 800 characters.
You can also use Summarize by AI Assist in the Message Explorer.
