Hi, my name is Angela and I'm excited to walk you through how to track your follower growth across all your social accounts in one place in today's Sprout Bites video. If you're managing multiple profiles, this one's for you. No more platform hopping just to check your numbers.
Checking your follower counts platform by platform is tedious, and it makes it tough to see the big picture. So let's bring them all together in one central view. Under the Cross-Network reports, open your Profile Performance report. This brings all your channels together.
The Overview tab is where you'll see your Audience Growth. Hovering your mouse over the graph reveals a daily breakdown of follower counts across all your networks. This at-a-glance view is perfect for identifying growth spikes or drop-offs the moment they happen.
Just below that is your Audience Metrics table. Here, you'll see your total audience size, net follower growth, and your percentage change compared to the previous period. That percentage gives you an instant reality check on your momentum.
If you ever need to evaluate a specific campaign, month, or quarter, just adjust the date selector. By default, it benchmarks your performance against the previous period of equal length. If you just want raw numbers without comparison, set the Compare filter to None. Every graph and every metric updates instantly.
If you want a more granular account-by-account breakdown, flip over to the Profiles tab. You get the same rich metrics without the chart overhead, making it simple to compare performance.
When you're ready to share, click the Export button. It lets you download these reports as a PDF or CSV, which is perfect for a weekly team check-in or a stakeholder update. If you'd rather have this sent automatically on a recurring schedule, that feature is available on our Advanced Plan.
So next time you're checking your growth in Sprout, give this a try. Once it's a habit, you'll start seeing patterns that shape your whole content strategy.
