Short-form video is everywhere right now, and if you're managing content across multiple platforms, you know that posting to each one individually can eat up a surprising amount of your day. Sprout makes it so you don't have to do that. Let's walk through it together.

Start by heading to the compose window. I'm going there by clicking New Post inside Publishing. From here, select the profiles you want to post to. You can select multiple networks at once, and Sprout will handle the platform-specific formatting as you go. Before you upload, keep in mind that each platform has its own video requirements around file type, length, and aspect ratio.

Once your video is uploaded, take a moment to select your thumbnail. For each platform that supports it, you can upload a custom image. It's the first thing someone sees before they decide to tap. Then, enter a title, which is required for YouTube.

Sprout lets you customize per profile without starting from scratch using the Customize post per network button. This also allows you to upload a different file and caption for each platform. You can always check Sprout's Help Center for the latest video specs.

Let's add some more details before it goes out. When you're happy with everything, choose your date and time, confirm it, and then click Schedule. Sprout will push your video out to all of your selected platforms at the exact moment you choose.
