We've all been there—you spot the perfect outfit or see that great event coming up on Instagram. You tap the link in bio and find yourself lost on a generic homepage, searching for that one specific thing that brought you there. Hi, my name is Lisa, and I'm excited to walk you through one of my favorite features today: SproutLink in Bio. It turns your Instagram grid into a clickable landing page where every post can have its own unique destination URL.
Once you've enabled SproutLink in Bio, it's as easy as going to the post. Under Post Link, you'll notice a box where you can enter the URL of your choosing.
Once you have that in place, you can go to the top of the page and select Customize site, where you can style the landing page itself. You'll notice the logo and company name are pulled in from Instagram, but you can customize them in this section. You can also add a feature banner with a custom URL attached to it, add your own description, and create buttons with custom URLs. If you'd like, you can include links to your other social media platforms as well.
Finally, there's the Instagram switch. If you turn it off, the images are removed and the page focuses only on the buttons and the custom URLs attached to them.
Now, if we close this out and go to your custom link, you'll see the actual view that your audience is going to see. You can click through everything to test it out before you go live.
Let's close out of this. You'll notice Page Views and SproutLink Clicks are highlighted. To really dive into those stats, go to your Post Performance Report and select SproutLink Clicks.
The other option for adding URLs to your posts is to do it when you're creating and publishing the post itself. You'll notice there's a Post Link option. Enter your custom URL there, and it will carry over into SproutLink in Bio.
Ready to go live and start watching those clicks come rolling in? All you have to do is copy that custom link, paste it into your bio, and you are on your way!
