Tripadvisor Integration Sunset
Table of Contents
Overview
Tripadvisor is retiring the API our integration runs on and moving partners to a new platform. To allow us to invest even further in social networks that have the most impact for you, we've made the decision not to migrate. Sprout will be sunsetting support for Tripadvisor.
Note, this change only affects Tripadvisor. All other review networks in the Reviews tab, including Facebook, Google My Business, Yelp, Trustpilot, Glassdoor, Apple App Store and Google Play Store, are not affected.
Key dates:
Starting October 30, 2026, you'll no longer be able to connect new Tripadvisor locations, and Sprout will stop pulling in new Tripadvisor reviews.
To help minimize disruption, existing Tripadvisor reviews and associated data in Reports will remain available through November 30, 2026, for any saving and exporting needs.
Before Sunset
You can continue managing your Tripadvisor reviews directly in Tripadvisor's Management Center, just as you always have. Replying to Tripadvisor reviews has never been available inside Sprout — the reply button has always opened the review in Tripadvisor — so your workflow for responding won’t change.
Existing Tripadvisor locations will keep working in the Reviews tab as they do today until October 30, 2026. After that date, no new Tripadvisor reviews will come into Sprout. To continue managing your Tripadvisor presence, sign in directly to Tripadvisor's Management Center to read and respond to reviews.
The Reviews tab, saved Views, notifications, the Reviews Overview Report, and the Tag Performance Report will continue to work as expected for all other supported review networks.
