Hi, my name is Neve. In this Sprout Bites video, I'm going to walk you through connecting your Instagram profile to Sprout and making sure it's properly linked so you can get started posting to Instagram right away. First, make sure your Instagram is a business profile. To check, go to Instagram, click Edit Profile, and you'll see Professional Account listed, which confirms your account is a business account. Next, head over to your Meta Business Suite on Facebook. Go to Pages, click your Facebook page, and confirm you have Full Control. Then make sure your Instagram is connected to this Facebook page by going to Instagram Accounts under Connected Assets — you should see your Facebook page connected to your Instagram account. Next, head over to your Sprout account and click Connect a Profile. Select Instagram, then Connect Business Profile, and follow the prompts to connect via Facebook. I always recommend clicking Edit Previous Settings to make sure everything is toggled on — click the second option, make sure all permissions are enabled, press Continue, then Continue again, scroll down, and press Save. This should bring you back to your Sprout account. From here, you have the option to connect your Instagram account through Business Manager or a Business Manager system user. I'll click Use Business Manager. You'll see your Meta Suite with your Instagram account listed — select it and press Next. Review your permissions, and if you want to grant full publishing permissions you can adjust from here, but for now I'll click Save. To confirm the connection, go to Settings, then Groups and Social Profiles — and there is your Instagram account. Once your profile is connected, you're all set to start posting and tracking performance in Sprout.
