Hi there, my name is Jam and I'm excited to walk you through how to access and use Reporting Resources so you can better understand the social media metrics in your Sprout reports. Let's get started. First, head to the Reports section in the left-hand sidebar and select any report you'd like to review. There are two ways to access Reporting Resources. The first is to hover over a metric, which opens a small window with a few details about it. From there, click the Learn More option to open Reporting Resources. The second way is to navigate to the upper right corner, click the ellipsis icon, and select Reporting Resources. On the Reporting Resources homepage, you'll see a list of metrics you can click on directly. If you don't see the specific metric you're looking for, use the search bar to type it in, select it from the search results, and you'll be brought to a detail page. On this page, you'll see rows of information for the metric. In the top left of each row, you'll see the logo and name of the social media network the metric applies to. In the top right, you'll see whether the data being collected is organic, paid, or a combination of both. In the middle, you'll see the main description for the metric. For some metrics like engagements, you'll see tiles within each row that vary by social media network — these tiles show the specific actions that make up the metric for each network. For example, Facebook engagements include reactions, comments, shares, post link clicks, and other post clicks, while on Threads and Bluesky, engagements are composed only of likes, replies, and shares. Thanks for joining me in exploring the Reporting Resources feature — I hope this helps with your Sprout reporting journey.
