How do I access my WooCommerce catalog in Sprout?
First, you need to connect your WooCommerce store to Sprout. Sprout automatically connects your WooCommerce catalogs.
How do I connect WooCommerce to Sprout?
To connect a WooCommerce store, you must be the Account Owner or have Manage Profiles company permission and Manage Advanced Inbox Features feature permission enabled in Sprout. To connect your account:
- Make sure you're logged into your Wordpress account and that your WooCommerce account is linked. For more information, see this troubleshooting article.
- Navigate to Account & Settings > Settings > Integrations under Global Features.

Click Connect under WooCommerce. A popup appears.
- Enter your store domain to go to WooCommerce.
- Grant permissions to Sprout to access your products.

How do I add a WooCommerce product link to a post?
To add a product link:
- Open Compose.
- Select the profiles you want to post to using the Profile Picker.
- Draft your content including text and media.
- Click
to add a product link. Your product catalog appears.

Select the product catalog you want to use from the dropdown.
- (Optional) Search for a product by keyword.
- Click Insert product link. The link is added to your post.
- Follow any internal workflows.
- Schedule or submit your post.
How do I reply to customers with a WooCommerce product link?
To include a product link in a customer reply:
- Navigate to the Smart Inbox.
- Select the message you want to reply to.
- Click
. The chat window appears.
- Enter your reply, and then click .
- Select the product catalog you want to use from the dropdown.
- (Optional) Search for a product by keyword.
- Click Insert product link. The link is added to your reply.
- Follow any internal workflows.
- Click Send or Submit For Approval.
WooCommerce Connection Troubleshooting
Why can't I connect my WooCommerce account to Sprout?
You must be logged into your Wordpress account to connect. If you're not logged into your WordPress account, you'll receive a prompt asking you for your WooCommerce credentials which will not be recognized in the authentication flow.
I'm logged into Wordpress and I'm still being prompted to enter my WooCommerce credentials. What do I do?
Follow these steps:
- Close all open Sprout Social tabs.
- Log out of Wordpress and then log back into Wordpress.
- Click the WooCommerce menu item on the left side navigation bar in Wordpress.
- Navigate to the My Subscriptions page.
- Confirm your WooCommerce account is linked to your Wordpress account.
- Return to the Sprout Social Integrations page in Settings.
- Click Connect for WooCommerce, and then enter your store URL address. You should now be prompted with an authentication page.
