Subscriber Data Retention for the Sprout Social Platform

Overview
Sprout Social retains Subscriber Data (as described in the applicable terms) for the duration of the customer’s subscription, except where the Customer/Subscriber chooses to delete data on a self-serve basis.
Following expiration or termination of the Subscriber’s services, Sprout Social will automatically delete all Subscriber Data within the prescribed timeframes set forth below or sooner upon receipt of a written request.
Retention Period for Trial Accounts
Subscriber Data is permanently deleted 30 days after the trial period ends.
Retention Period for Subscription (Paid) Accounts
Subscriber Data is permanently deleted 90 days after account closure or termination.
Data Deletion Outside the Retention Periods
Subscribers can delete data from the Sprout Social platform on a self-serve basis at any time while their trial or subscription is active.
Former Subscribers who wish to permanently delete their Subscriber Data prior to the completion of the retention period listed above may request deletion by contacting privacy@sproutsocial.com. We will process deletion requests in accordance with the DPA and applicable law.
Exceptions to the Retention Period
In limited circumstances, Sprout Social may retain data beyond the periods above if required by applicable law. Confidentiality and security protections remain in place for the full duration of any retention period.
