Post Analysis Drilldowns
Table of Contents
We're excited to introduce Post Analysis Drilldowns!
Previously, when you spotted an interesting trend in a Post Analysis chart, it was difficult to pinpoint the exact posts driving that performance without manually digging through other reports.
Now, with Post Drilldowns, Premium Analytics users can click directly into supported Post Analysis charts to see the individual posts that contribute to an aggregate data point. This new level of transparency helps you build trust in your data and provides immediate insights into what content is increasing engagement or generating more views, directly informing your publishing strategy.
How It Works
You can quickly get to the underlying posts contributing to the data in a Post Analysis widget by drilling down into the charts.
When you click on a data point in a supported Post Analysis chart, a drill-down panel opens from the right side of the page.
The way you interact with the chart to drill down depends on the chart type:
- Time-based Views (e.g., Line Chart): Click on a data point to select a specific time range from the x-axis (such as a single day or month).
- Non-time-based Views (e.g., Donut Chart & Bar Chart): Click on a specific slice or bar to select a category (such as a specific Tag or post type) across the entire selected date range.
What You Can Do in the Panel
Once the drill-down panel opens, you can view the underlying posts that make up the selected data point and tag them.
