ChatGPT Integration FAQs
The ChatGPT integration lets you ask natural language questions about your TikTok publishing and content performance data directly in ChatGPT — no report pulling or manual campaign comparison needed.
Important: Due to social network data-sharing policies, this integration currently provides TikTok data only. Ad data and data from other networks are not available. Write actions (e.g., creating posts from ChatGPT) are not supported at this time.
Who can set up the integration?
You must be an Admin of both your Sprout Social account and your ChatGPT Pro or Enterprise account.
The Sprout Admin must first enable the integration toggle: Settings > Account Settings > ChatGPT Integration > Toggle to "enabled." (This toggle is off by default.)
If the Sprout Admin who set up the integration is later removed, the integration will stop working and need to be re-authenticated by another Admin.
Who can use the integration after setup?
Any licensed Sprout Social user can use the integration. (Admin role is not required.)
You must also have a licensed ChatGPT Pro or Enterprise account.
Each user authenticates individually, so your Sprout permissions and profile access are respected — you'll only see data you have access to in Sprout.
What data is available?
TikTok publishing and post performance data for profiles you have access to in Sprout.
Not included: Other social networks, ad data, or the ability to take actions (publish, schedule, draft) back in Sprout.
Why only TikTok?
Network data availability is based on our operating and partnership agreements with each social network. Because of this, we are only able to provide TikTok data at this time.
How can a Sprout Admin disable the integration?
Settings > Account Settings > ChatGPT Integration > Toggle to "disabled"
This disables the integration for the entire group. Individual users cannot override this setting.
