ChatGPT Integration Overview and Setup

The ChatGPT integration makes it easier to unlock insights from your Sprout publishing data. Instead of pulling reports or manually comparing campaigns, you can ask ChatGPT natural language questions about your content performance and receive quick, contextual answers.

Note: The ChatGPT connection is only available for TikTok data, specifically for published insights and post performance metrics. 

With this integration, you can:

• Securely connect your Sprout account to your ChatGPT Plus, Pro, or Enterprise account
• Ask questions about post and campaign performance
• Get summaries, comparisons, and suggestions based on post-level analytics (impressions, engagements, post metadata, and more)
• Use ChatGPT’s formatting and summarization tools to help plan campaigns and optimize future content

Follow these steps to connect Sprout Social to your ChatGPT account:

1. Log into ChatGPT.
2. Go to your account settings.
3. Navigate to “App.”
4. Click “Create app.”
5. Fill in the form with the following details:
   • Name: Sprout Social
   • Description: Social Media Management
   • MCP Server URL: [https://mcp.sproutsocial.com/mcp](https://mcp.sproutsocial.com/mcp)
   • Authentication: OAuth
   • I understand and want to continue: Check this box
6. Click “Create.”
7. Complete the Sprout Social Login: If you are not already logged into Sprout Social, you will be prompted to log in. Once logged in, the integration will authenticate automatically.
