How to Add Multiple Admin Credentials to a Meta Profile Connection in Sprout

Increase Reliability with your Meta Profile Connections in Sprout 

Sprout offers the option for multiple Meta admins to proactively add their credentials to an established profile connection in Sprout for the following Meta profile types: 

• Facebook Pages
• Instagram Profiles
• Facebook Ad Accounts

By storing additional admin credentials for your Meta profile connections, our platform gains access to multiple tokens which significantly improves the reliability of your Facebook and Instagram features within Sprout.

Proactively storing multiple admin credentials can help to avoid any interruptions should an admin be removed from your Business Manager or encounter any native restrictions with publishing. We advise updating available connections as preparation step for any accounts migrating to the new Managed Meta Account structure. 

How to Add Multiple Admin Credentials to a Meta Profile Connection

Please Note: this connection upgrade lives in the "Connect a Profile" experience, even though it is not a new profile being connected in Sprout. 

Admin steps to complete this connection upgrade:

1. Ensure the user completing this upgrade has been assigned Full Control admin access on the corresponding Facebook Page and/or Facebook Ad Account within Business Manager.
2. Navigate to Connect a Profile in Sprout
3. Select Facebook or Instagram

4. Proceed with Facebook Page, Facebook Ad Manager, or Instagram Creator or Business profile connection. 

5. Proceed to Go to Facebook to complete the initial authorization. Select the corresponding Meta Business Manager for your page connections

6. On the Pages or Profiles selection screen toggle Add additional credentials to this profile next to the already-connected profiles available for strengthening
7. Select Next to complete the process.
