Publishing notifications on mobile

The Sprout Mobile app can send push notifications for posts that fail to publish, scheduled posts that successfully publish and your publishing and task activity. These notifications help you stay on top of your outgoing communication and keep you in the know on internal comments and workflow approvals.

Failed Posts Notifications

You can customize the push notifications you receive on mobile for failed posts. To set up notifications for failed posts:

1. Tap  at the bottom right of the app.
2. Tap Notification Preferences.
   
   
3. Scroll down and enable the Failed Posts toggle switch.
   
   

Tapping a Failed Message Notification opens Compose, so you can send, schedule or queue the message again.

Successful Scheduled Posts Notifications

You can customize the push notifications you receive for successfully scheduled posts. To set up notifications for successfully scheduled posts:

1. Tap  at the bottom right of the app.
2. Tap Notification Preferences.
3. Scroll down and tap Successful Scheduled Posts.
4. Select the types of success notifications you want to receive.

Publishing Activity Notifications

You can set up notifications for publishing activity notifications like internal comments and workflow approval statuses from your team. To set up publishing activity notifications:

1. Tap  at the bottom right of the app.
2. Tap Notification Preferences.
3. Scroll down to the Team Collaboration section.
   
   
4. Tap Publishing Activity.
   
   
   • Toggle the following on/off depending on your preferences:
     
     • Post Approvals
     • Post Comments
5. Tap Task Activity.
   
   
   • Toggle the following on/off depending on your preferences:
     • New Tasks
     • Status Changes
     • New Comments
