Due to changes in X's v2 Enterprise APIs, the below functionality is being removed from Sprout's web and mobile apps as part of our migration to X's updated API. These updates are a direct result of changes made by X to their API and related policies.
Features Affected
- Block/Unblock: The ability to block or unblock users via the profile card will no longer be available.
- Report as Spam: The option to report users or messages as spam at the profile or message level will be removed.
- X Lists: The ability to view, create, or add users to X Lists directly from Sprout will no longer be supported.
Alternatives for Managing Content and Users
- Hide on X: We recommend using the “Hide on X” feature, accessible in the overflow menu, as an alternative to managing unwanted content.
- Sprout’s Contact List Feature: For those who rely on X Lists, Sprout’s Contact List provides a cross-network solution for tracking users in a centralized list, giving you more flexibility across platforms.
We understand these changes may require some adjustments, and we’re here to help if you have questions or need support.
