Select from a list of 20 thumbnails for uploaded videos in Compose

Now you can select which video thumbnail you want to use for your videos when using Compose. Whether your post is saved as a draft, scheduled or queued, you can pick the perfect thumbnail directly from your video for Instagram or Facebook posts.

View comments across more of your Facebook ad posts and never miss an opportunity to engage

Now you can respond to ad comments in Sprout. Facebook Dynamic Creative Optimization (DCO), Facebook Placement Asset Customization (PAC) and Instagram PAC comments now appear in your Smart Inbox once a comment is made on your ad post in real time.

Note: There is no backfill for Facebook DCO and PAC ad comments. These comments will start populating from this date forward.

See your active filters at-a-glance and quickly see data that fits your criteria

Now the filter menu is stacked horizontally across the top of the following reports in Sprout:

  • Inbox Team Report
  • Google Analytics Report
  • Publishing Team Report
  • Task Performance Report
  • Twitter Trends Report
  • Engagement Report

This way you can easily view which filters are active with icons and a quick summary of each filter applied. As an added benefit, your data loads faster in your reports based on the filters.

Note: You'll receive a popup notification in Sprout when this is enabled for your account.

Choose video frames as your thumbnail image in the iOS app

Now you can choose a frame from your videos to upload as your video thumbnail in Sprout's iOS app. When you upload a video to Compose, you can tap the gear icon to open the Video Options and select a thumbnail from a gallery of 20 auto-generated video frames.

Export entire threads for Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn from the Smart Inbox

Now you can share message streams with your stakeholders and further analyze responses to campaigns and incidents with export functionality. From the Smart Inbox or Reply window, click Export Thread to send the entire conversation to the email addresses you specify.
