How do I set up a Campaign?
Sprout Social Influencer Marketing's platform supports a multi-tier system that helps you stay organized.
You can think of the system like this: Projects > Campaigns. Projects is similar to a folder on your desktop, where Campaigns are the documents within the folder.
This article contains the following sections:
Creating Campaigns
You can create multiple Campaigns within a single Project, constructing a folder-like system for all of your organization's Campaigns.
You can name Projects according to the brands you're supporting, then build Campaigns based on each brand. Other times, you might want to create Projects based on a time-period and then develop your Campaigns according to the time, like a quarter, month, or year.
To build a Campaign:
- Click the Projects tab in the navigation bar.
- Click + Add Campaign.
- Assign the Campaign to an existing Project, or create a new one.
- When building a new Project and a new Campaign, click Create New Project from the Find or create new project field.
- When adding a Campaign to a previously built Project, search for the Project in the Find or create new project field.
- Enter the Campaign name. If needed, you can change the Campaign name or update select Campaign variables retroactively.
- Enter the Campaign dates.
- Set the date range for the Campaign. These dates are when brands or agencies can expect Creators to post their content. You can backdate and date Campaigns into the future.
-
As a best practice, if the dates are unknown but planning has begun, add any dates from three months before the current date, and then update them when the Campaign launches.
-
Select Currency. After your initial selection, you can't edit the currency.
-
Search for the Creator or brand by selecting the appropriate Profile. If the brand doesn't have a Profile yet, create one in Discovery.
Campaign Monitoring settings
In the General Settings > Monitoring tab of your Campaign you can:
- Adjust your Campaign date range
- Toggle Brand Mentions on or off
