Influencer Marketing: How do I manage user settings?

If you have an Influencer Marketing account, you can manage your user settings like adding or changing your avatar, editing your user name and updating your phone number or job title.
To access your User Settings, click your account initials in the lower left corner and click User Settings.
You can customize your Sprout Social Influencer Marketing account to fit your preferences. Changes to your User Settings are optional.
New avatar
To upload a personal avatar like a headshot, click Upload new avatar. Choose or upload an image and click Open.
User name
To change the name that appears on Influencer Marketing, click the text box below Name and add your preferred name to the field.
Language
Change your default language by clicking the drop-down menu below Language. Influencer Marketing supports English, Portuguese, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and Russian languages.
Job title and phone number
You can add your job title and phone number to your profile. This information is not required, but the phone number you add will be used for two-factor authentication if enabled.
Location
To add your location, click the text box below Location and start typing your city, state or country to pull up a drop-down menu to choose from.
Security
Click Security to adjust your personal security settings like changing your password and enabling two-factor authentication.
You'll be asked to re-enter your account password in order to make any security changes.
After verifying your password, you’ll see two options:
- Change Password
- Two-Factor Authentication
Change Password
Click Change Password to change your Influencer Marketing password.
You'll be prompted to create and confirm your new password. In the pop-up, you’ll also be able to evaluate the strength of your new password. When you’re finished, click Save.
Two-Factor Authentication
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is a second layer of security that requires users to pass through two layers of security in order to access Sprout Social Influencer Marketing.
You can set up 2FA by authenticating through a text message code or an authentication app.
Text message authentication
- If your current 2FA method is set to an authentication app, click Change.
- Click the radio button next to Text message and click Continue.
- Enter a valid phone number and click Next.
- Enter the six-digit code received via text message into the pop-up.
- Copy or download the recovery codes in case you lose your mobile device.
Authenticator app
To use an authentication app, first download a two-factor authentication app like Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator onto your mobile device.
Once downloaded, either scan the QR code from the Influencer Marketing screen or manually enter the code from Influencer Marketing into your authenticator app.
The authenticator app will display a six digit code for you to enter into Influencer Marketing.
Once you enter the code, click Next.
Copy or download the recovery codes in case you lose your mobile device.
Personal email signature
You can customize your email signature for messages sent from Influencer Marketing by clicking Email Signature and toggling ON Turn on custom signature for your email messages.
Enter the text for your signature in the box below. You can type, paste or click the Personal Details slugs (fields) to populate the information from the previous screen.
Scroll down the page to preview your signature in both light and dark mode then click Save. You can also click Restore Default to revert back to the original settings.
To update your logo and other company information that appears in your signature, navigate to Organization Settings.
Notifications
You can customize the frequency and type of Influencer Marketing alerts by clicking Notifications.
Customize notifications for the Content Approval and Creator Flow processes by selecting your preferred notification method. If you don’t want to receive a notification, leave all boxes unchecked.
