What content and metrics can Influencer Marketing Capture from Twitch?
Influencer Marketing integrates seamlessly with Twitch, keeping a close eye on all profiles on the platform. This high-frequency monitoring ensures we capture every stream broadcasted by Twitch creators.
Content Types and Metrics
We gather two types of content from Twitch: Streams and Videos.
Streams
Streams include content that is live or was live at some point. We provide detailed information about broadcasts streamed by creators. Creators can also choose to archive their streams, allowing fans to watch them later if they missed the live broadcast.
We collect information about Streams in two scenarios:
-
Live Stream + Video
We capture the Stream while it’s live and then again when the creator saves it as a Video. In this case, we display the following metrics:- Title
- Followers
- Game Played
- Video Views
- Average Viewers
- Maximum Viewers
- Language
- Duration
-
Live Stream Only
We capture the Stream while it’s live, but the creator chooses not to save it as a Video. Here, we display metrics specific to the live content:- Title
- Followers
- Game Played
- Average Viewers
- Maximum Viewers
- Language
- Duration
Videos
Twitch Videos come in two forms:
- Manual Uploads
- Highlights
For both types, we provide the following metrics:
- Title
- Followers
- Video Views
- Duration

Changes to Stream and Video Merging
Before January 2023, we displayed Streams and Videos (when saved from Streams) as separate pieces of content. Streams and their associated Videos are now merged into one seamless entry, making it easier to track and analyze. This change only applies to content captured after January 2023. Older content from before this update will still appear as separate entries on Twitch profiles.
