Influencer Marketing: How can I use UTMs for Shopify?

You can append UTMs using Influencer Marketing’s Link Tracking feature. To do this, open your Campaign Settings and enter your Shopify store link in the Default Destination URL in Link Tracking. To add UTM parameters, you’ll need to turn on the UTM toggle and UTMs will automatically be appended to links based on post-level information like campaign or creator.
Once you’ve appended UTMs, Influencer Marketing will pull in the following Shopify metrics:
- Number of orders created with a given UTM parameter
- Total sales generated with a given UTM parameter
You’ll find these metrics within the Campaign Summary as well as the creators table.
When adding a target URL to the Default Destination URL, it must lead to a Shopify store. For example, if you wanted to connect Sprout Coffee, you'd add “sproutcoffee.myshopify.com” instead of “sproutcoffee.com”.
